My Podcast Episode Artwork is Now Showing in Apple

TWO TYPES OF ARTWORK

There is the "Show" artwork that is under settings > edit show settings.

There is the "Episodic" artwork that is under the artwork tab of an episode.

This gets confusing. We wish Apple would make it simple

"Store View"

Sometimes called the "listing." This is where someone goes to the Apple Podcasts App and clicks on search and finds your show. If you click play on an episode there it WILL SHOW the episodic artwork.

Library View

This is when you go to Apple Podcasts app and click on the Library view. The Library view has shows you have subscribed to and (for whatever reason) this view does not show the episodic artwork. It's frustrating.

Episodic artwork shows up on the "web based" version of your show but not in the app.
The "Search view doesn't display the episode numbers

The Library view is the best the best place to look at your show after you follow it.

Other Apps

Each app is unfortunately different. For example Overcast (a popular app on iOs uses the ID3 tags image). In other words, some apps will show episodic artwork (Spotify) and some won't.
